The company has been one of Greystone Hall's approved caterers since 1992, starting on a list of twenty-five catering firms, then ten, six and three, and now two. Jeffrey A. Miller, Wharton Business School graduate, chef and owner of the Jeffrey Miller Catering Company learned his trade at some of the finest restaurants in New York and Europe, including Bouley, La Cootie Basque, Le Cirque in Manhattan, Simpsons on the Strand, London and the Michelin 3-starred Moulin de Mougins in France. His work reflects twenty plus years of off premise catering experience, twelve years as exclusive caterer to the then president of the University of Pennsylvania, and ten years as exclusive caterer at Aldie Mansion in Dolylestown. Jeffrey is the founder and owner of www.partyspace.com, the premier web site for wedding services in the tri-state area.
The company's chefs have trained in Europe and the United States and are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, Johnson and Wales, and the Restaurant School. From breakfast to barbecue to haute cuisine, "everything is made from scratch, to order, from the freshest ingredients available." The majority of the full service catering company's events are "contemporary formal" in style. Servers work events in classic black and white; black pants, white tuxedo shirts, vests and white aprons - bistro style. The company offers clients the option of using Jeffrey's collection of assorted an antique china as lay plates or dessert plates; regular china is "Classic White", a Rosenthal fine china pattern.
